Schooner gets a sister!
About a year after Schooner came into our lives, we decided to expand our family a little more by adopting a Lab/Shepherd mix named Spinnaker. Originally from Arizona, we found this 9 month old little girl recovering from a leg injury at the Helen Woodward Animal Center, on January 16 2005.
Schooner and Spinnaker hit it off immediately. Within minutes of their introduction at the shelter, they were off and running in the play area, drinking from the same water bucket, and taking turns licking Andrew (our nephew). Since then, they've been filling their days running laps up and down the bank in our backyard and barking at the neighbors cats...
